The effect of PMAP-36 in combination with tetracycline on the production of inflammatory cytokines. Mice were intraperitoneally infected with PCN033 (1 × 10⁷ CFU) and then treated with tetracycline, PMAP-36, or PMAP-36 in combination with tetracycline. The infected mice were treated with PBS as a control. At 12 h post-infection, the production of inflammatory cytokines, including IL-1α (A), IL-1β (B), IL-6 (C), IL-12 (D), and TNF-α (E), in the lung, liver, spleen and PLF was determined using ELISAs (n = 3/group). Statistical significance is indicated by *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, and ***p < 0.001.
