Selectivity index of 2′CMC, arbidol and ribavirin. WNV-infected eNPCs were treated with increasing concentration of selected compounds (from 0.2 to 390 µM for 2′-C-methylcytidine, from 0.15 to 78 µM for arbidol and from 0.05 to 150 µM for ribavirin) and analysed at 48 hpi. Total and infected cells were enumerated automatically based on DAPI staining and immunostaining with an anti-WNV-E3 antibody. A 2′CMC, B arbidol and C ribavirin. Results are representative of 3 independent experiments performed in triplicate. They are expressed as the mean ± SD. CC: cytotoxicity concentration, IC: inhibitory concentration, SI: selectivity index.
