Cells were pre-treated with AEBSF (0, 0.1 and 0.2 mM) prior to PCV2 incubation, and the cells were cultured in the presence of AEBSF for 16 h and further cultured in fresh medium without AEBSF until 24 h. The percentage of PCV2⁺ cells (stained in green) was quantitated. All data were obtained from three pigs of each breed, and within each replicate, the mean was calculated based on ten randomly selected fields. Data represent means ± SD of triplicated assays.
