The data are presented as boxplots using standard Tukey representation and are expressed as the natural logarithm of the number of H. suis per mg tissue. The statistical comparison between the gastric lesion groups was performed using the non-parametric Kruskal–Wallis H test with Bonferroni correction, which counteracts the multiple comparisons problem.
