SC inhibits PRRSV infection by regulating the TRAF2/NF-κB signalling pathway. PRRSV infection promotes activation of the NF-κB signalling pathway via inhibition of TRAF2 expression, thus promoting self-replication. SC suppresses activation of the NF-κB signalling pathway by promoting the expression of TRAF2, thereby inhibiting PRRSV replication and the expression of inflammatory cytokines.
