Posterior estimates of the herd sensitivities (HSe: probability that at least one animal is positive to the test in a seropositive herd) and specificities (HSp: probability that all animals are negative to the test in a seronegative herd) of the three tests for each species. The sample size per herd varies from 1 to 20 animals. HSe and HSp were integrated across the whole distribution of the within-herd seroprevalence in each species. Plain and dotted lines represent the median and the 95% credible interval of each parameter. Dot dashed vertical lines represent the optimal sample size (maximizing the Youden Index) for each test and species. All lines are colored in red, green and blue, respectively for tests 1, 2 and 3.
