According to the phylogenetic analysis of inorganic pyrophosphatase, T. spiralis has a closer evolutionary relationship with the encapsulated species of Trichinella spp. A The structure prediction revealed that TsPPase is consisted of 2 α-helices and 12 β-strands, the yellow spherical part represents the metal binding sites (B) and the substrate binding site respectively (C). The purple spherical part represents the protein backbone, and the small branches represent sidechains.
