Thyroid hormone levels in sera from fetuses at 12 days post-infection. Sera derived from gestational day matched, non-inoculated control gilts (CON n = 30) and from PRRSV2 challenged dams at 12 days post-inoculation (Experiment 2) and classified based on serum, thymic and placental viral load as uninfected (UNIF n = 28), high viral load viable (HV-VIA n = 19) or high viral load meconium stained (HV-MEC n = 26).
