Coinfection with PCV2 and SS2 causes down-regulation of TJ in STEC. STEC were infected with PCV2 for 24 h or 36 h before incubating with SS2 for 12 h. A Protein levels of ZO-1 and occludin were determined by Western blotting and band intensities relative to control were analyzed. B mRNA levels of ZO-1 and occludin were analyzed with qRT-PCR. The results were described as mean ± SD of three independent experiments. Significant differences were determined using one-way ANOVA analysis. *P < 0.05; **P < 0.01; ***P < 0.001; ns: not significant.
