Loops L7 and L8 activated NF-κB and AP-1 reporters in PAMs. PAMs were stimulated with OmpP2 (5 µg/mL and 10 µg/mL), loops L7 and L8 or scrambled peptide (130 nmol/mL and 260 nmol/mL, respectively) for 12 h; TNF-α was used as the positive control, HEPES buffer (pH 7.4) containing 0.25% (w/v) SLS as the mock stimulus and untreated cells as the negative control. The dual-luciferase assay activity levels based on luciferase reporter assays of NF-κB and AP-1 are shown. The results are presented as the mean ± SD. Data were analysed using one-way ANOVA. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 compared with the negative control.
