All data are reported as the mean (±SE) of results obtained for the pigs (n = 5) in the Control or Finistere groups or the surviving pigs (n = 5–8) in Lena group. “a” indicates a significant difference between the Control and Lena groups, “b” a significant difference between the Control and Finistere groups and “c” a significant difference between the Lena and Finistere groups using a global Kruskal–Wallis test followed by a Holm’s adjusted pairwise Wilcoxon-Mann-Whitney test (p < 0.05).
