CXCL8 secretion by bMEC after stimulation with different bacterial agonists. bMEC from five different cows were seeded in 24-well plates at a concentration of 105 cells/well. Twenty-four hours prior to stimulation, the culture medium was replaced by stimulation medium. Cells were incubated in the presence of different purified agonists at the indicated concentrations. CXCL8 concentration in the supernatant was measured by ELISA 5 h after initiation of the stimulation.
