Cytoadhesive function of M. hyorhinis enolase. A Cytoadhesion of rEno detected by indirect immunofluorescence assay. rEno or BSA was incubated with PK-15 cells. Bound protein was detected with anti-rEno serum and FITC-conjugated secondary antibody (green). PK-15 cell nuclei were stained with DAPI. B Adhesion inhibition assay of anti-rEno antibody. The fold change in adhesion rate is (the number of bacteria adhering to cells incubated with anti-rEno serum / the number of bacteria adhering to cells incubated with preimmune serum) × 100%. Results are expressed as means ± SD of three experiments with triplicate samples (**p < 0.01).
