Phylogenetic analysis of M2 (µ1). Phylogenetic tree constructed from partial sequences of µ1 (47 – 687) using neighbor joining (NJ). The analysis included 37 field isolates (black) and six reference isolates of known virulence (high virulent in red, low virulent in green). The isolates clustered into two distinct groups annotated as M1 (µ1) Group A and Group B. Bootstrap values were calculated from 1000 replicates and values above 70 were considered significant.
