The mid-point rooted tree was constructed using a 3095 bp concatenated MLST sequences alignment from the 44 C. pecorum strains, including the abortigenic C. pecorum strains described in this study (outlined in bold). Support values are displayed on the tree nodes. As displayed on the legend, metadata for each strain denotes: hosts including sheep and other livestock (goat, cattle and pig); clinical manifestations such as asymptomatic, abortion, and disease including Sporadic Bovine Encephalomyelitis (SBE), polyarthritis, pneumonia, orchitis, conjunctivitis, and metritis; geographical location (overseas and/or Australia) and STs.
