From: Innate immune response in bovine neutrophils stimulated with Mycoplasma bovis
mRNA expression of proinflammatory cytokine related genes after stimulation with M. bovis. Bovine neutrophils were evaluated at 3 or 6 h after stimulation with live or heat-killed M. bovis in five cows. The mRNA expression of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, IL-8, IL-12, and IFN-γ was determined by qPCR and expressed as a fold increase, as described in the Materials and methods. The data were expressed in five cows; significant difference at *P < 0.05 or **P < 0.01 compared to unstimulated controls.
