The expression levels of genes and miRNA were normalized to that of the glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) and U1A, respectively. Significant differences in gene expression levels between control and treatment (NE-induced) were analyzed by the Student’s t test and indicated as follows: * = P < 0.05 and ** = P < 0.01. Error bars indicate the SEM of technical replicates that were done in triplicate.
