Number 2/4/6/7 RVC structural genes combinations to form VLP
1 VP4 G3, VP7 G3, VP6 G6, VP2 G6
2 VP4 G6, VP7 G6, VP6 G6, VP2 G6
3 VP4 G1, VP7 G1, VP6 G1, VP2 G1
4 VP4 G3, VP7 G3, VP6 G1, VP2 G1 (VP6 G3, VP2 G3)
5 VP4 G1, VP7 G1, VP6 G6, VP2 G6
6 VP4 G6, VP7 G6, VP6 G1, VPG G1
7 Cocktail mixture of VLPs # 1–6
  1. PCR was used to determine the presence of RVC VP7, VP4, VP6 and VP2 in recombinant baculovirus DNA Combinations of different genotypes (G1, G3 and G6) (1–6) shown in the table were used to co-infect Sf9 cells. After harvest and semi-purification, combinations 1–6 were used to make the cocktail of RVC VLPs #7.
