Temperatures of pregnant heifers intravenously challenged with 107 (IV1), 105 (IV2), 103 (IV3), and 102 (IV4) tachyzoites and the uninfected control group (A). Temperatures of pregnant heifers intravenously (IV2) and subcutaneously (SC) challenged with the dose of 105 tachyzoites and the uninfected control group (B). The spaced line highlights 39.5 °C considered as fever. Each point represents the mean + SD (standard deviation) at different times for each group.
