Analysis of antibacterial related molecules mRNA levels in bovine fetal FB, BM-MSC and AT-MSC activated by exposure to S. aureus for 6 h. A bBD4A mRNA levels increased (P < 0.05) in activated BM-MSC and AT-MSC compared to non-activated controls. B NK1 mRNA levels increased (P < 0.05) in activated FB and AT-MSC compared to non-activated controls. (a–c) Indicate significant (P < 0.05) difference between activated and no-activated cell type.
