Elution profile of the PCTD + N complexes. A Absorbances were monitored at 280 nm (blue line), 260 nm (red line) and 220 nm (gray line). Samples (3 mL) were filtered through a 0.22 µm pore-size filter and run on a Sephacryl S200 column and fractions of 1 mL were collected. The following size markers (GE Healthcare) were used to calibrate the column (mass in parentheses): 1, ribonuclease A (13 700); 2, chymotrypsinogen A (20 200); 3, ovalbumin (47 200); 4, albumin (61 000); 5, catalase (232 000); 6, ferretin (440 000); 7, thyroglobulin (699 000).
