Effect of methyl gallate (MG) on the expression of Salmonella Typhimurium quorum sensing genes (sdiA, srgE, and rck). The genes were activated by 1 µmol of N-acetyl homoserine lactone (AHL) and treated with 100 and 30 µg/mL of MG and its combination with a sub-minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of MRB before incubation for 8 h.
