  1. One LN affected (right or left): oblique lines; two LN affected (both right and left or two of three, cranial, caudal, or medial): vertical lines; three LN affected (cranial, caudal, and medial): horizontal lines. Total Lesion score is the sum of the scores of all tissues per animal.
  2. R: right, L: left, EC: endotracheally challenged, OC: oral challenged, AC: after challenge, LN: lymph node.
