The amino acid at position 90 of PRRSV N is crucial for the epitope recognized by SDOW17. MDM were mock infected (A) or infected with vIVI1173 or the mutant vIVI1173-N(T₉₀) (B, C), with vRVB581 or the mutant vRVB581-N(A₉₀) (D, E) or with CReSA-2982 or LV as controls (F, G). After 18 h, N detection by flow cytometry (left two panels) and by immunofluorescence staining of the monolayers (right two panels) was performed with mAbs SR30 and SDOW17.
