Inoculation of E75CV1 does not confer protection against heterologous BA71 lethal challenge (Box 2 from experiment 3). Groups of four pigs were either inoculated with 10⁴ HAU₅₀ E75CV1 (solid lines) or non-immunized (control, discontinuous lines) and 31 days later were challenged with a lethal dose of 10³ HAU₅₀ BA71. The ASFV infection was monitored by: ASFV detection in sera by hemadsorption (A) and nasal excretion by means of qPCR (B). The graphs show the values corresponding to individual pigs.
