Inoculation of E75CV1 confers protection against homologous E75 lethal challenge (Box 1 from experiment 3). Groups of four pigs were either inoculated with 104 HAU50 E75CV1 or non-immunized (control) and 31 days later were challenged with a lethal dose of 104 HAU50 of E75. The ASFV infection was montitored by: rectal temperature (A), virus detection in sera by hemadsorption (B) and nasal excretion by means of qPCR (C). The graphs show the average values of each group and the standard deviations (**p < 0.01 and ***p < 0.001).
