Insertion sites of Tn 4001 cam transposon in motility mutants. Non-motile RCL1 mutants harbored transposons in the mgc cytadherence locus, consisting of mgc2, gapA (formerly mgc1), and crmA (formerly mgc3). In mutants T932A and T932C Tn4001 cam integrated 344 and 576 bp after the translational initiation nucleotide of mgc2.
