Somatic cell counts (SCC) in quarters infused with flagellin 0.1 μg (☐), flagellin 1 μg (△); flagellin 5 μg (×) or control quarter (◊). Purified agonists were infused into the udder of five different cows. SCC and CXCL8 were quantified in milk 4, 8, 12, 24, 32, 48 h post-infusion.
