Schematic model of the mechanism underlying DHM-mediated inhibition of on ASFV replication. ASFV infection induces the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines by activating the TLR4/MyD88/MAPK/NF-κB signaling pathway. Concomitantly, ASFV infection activates the ROS-NLRP3 inflammasome signaling cascade to induce pyroptosis. However, DHM treatment downregulates these signaling cascades and inhibits ASFV replication.
