  1. Epidemiological functional groups used in this study, based on the two epidemiological functions related to the maintenance and introduction potential respectively of AIV in Southern African ecosystems. Numbers represent qualitative estimations of the AIV relative risk for each epidemiological function and for each EFG. For each cell, the qualitative estimation of the relative risk is calculated by multiplying values of the relative risk of EFGs from EF1 and EF2.
